Products:

  • Vector Platform
  • MAV3K

Applications:

  • Logistics
  • Material Handling
  • Parts replenishment

Background

Waypoint Robotics is led by a team of roboticists who have a variety of experience. Their vision is to create the “iPod of robots”. Vector is the first new product to be introduced by the year old company. Simplicity and ease of use are core engineering principles for the Waypoint team.

ROS-Native Robot for the Laboratory or Factory

Vector is an industrial strength, high quality, omni-directional, fully autonomous, mobile robot. Compact and agile, this robotic mobility platform is a ROS-Native — allowing you the openness and configurability needed to take on any robotics task. As a smaller version of Stanley Innovation’s Flex OMNI platform, the Vector features an unparalleled payload capacity, as well as a unique capability that enables you to position your robot as desired. Never worry about runtime, as Vector’s power system has been architected for all-day assignments.

Vector is small and agile enough to work in a standard home or office environment, but it’s tough enough for the factory floor. Commercial customers looking to automate tasks like material handling or adding mobility to cobots, will find Vector to be a ready and reliable work horse. Vector can navigate autonomously right out of the box and the smart-battery system has enough energy to work all day.

The Vector Navigator™ package includes front and rear laser sensors to perform 2D navigation in structured indoor environments. The navigation system comes with fully tuned mapping, global localization, and trajectory planning. ROS modules come tuned specifically for Vector vehicle dynamics and performance.
